how to change channel in game?

i play with my friend and we went outside of harbinger then we went back and i cant see my friend anymore.
we are in the same room irl but cant see eachother in game...
also how do we see party member on map?
i invited her with /invite name but i cant see if we are in team or not.

oh, Cathy o/ Welcome again for now there is no way to change the channel, sorry. We are still in early alpha. Squads may be bugged at times as well. We are all waiting for new netcode to test, then devs will start to fix other systems and deploy content.

Yes shard, i figured being in a clan will maintain the party when we change instances/shard or maps.

before i made my clan( syndicate ) the party was disbanded every map change but now it stays, its a lot more comfortable but i am really looking forward to 2 things.

Anyway even with all its flaws and the version being very alpha i really like the ideas and concept of this game.
i also hope we are seeing a character customization such as body shapes and face customization in the future ^^
