Hi I just wanted to start a thread regarding this topic which I am certain will be a large focus.

Will there be loading screens or a seemless transition to space?

How about to planets?

Any information would be amazing as I am rather excited for this aspect.

After the spaceship taking off it will be small uploading and immediately the spaceship will be able to leave the planet. We will try to do as much as possible in order to minimize the loading transition zones. Similarly, when landing.

Good to know. Not that loading screens are a negative for me personally. It just helps to know the scope of PG's space travel aspect.

Cheers

How many planets will there be to visit? Are they all in the same solar system? Will there be planets without oxygen that require special suits/vehicles to access? Will there be moons to land on?

A lot ;)
Are they all in the same solar system?
Events in the game place in not the solar system.

Will there be planets without oxygen that require special suits/vehicles to access?
Yes, It will be implemented

Will there be moons to land on?
Yes, players will be able to land not only on the planets, but also to the satellites, as well as to other objects in the space

Are the PVE players and PVP players on the same server? Somewhat like how StarWars Galaxies was?
In regards to PVE .. can a single player build a ship and fly to a distant planet even if gathering resources takes an eternity?

Batroel, you are a great dreamer! ;)

Hahaha, well it wouldn't be exciting to find "unexpected" guests while exploring forsaken satellites or spaceships? I love terror movies/games based in the space so I had to say it!
