Question about binding of avalon and founder packs

Was just curious does having an account binded to one of these packs come with any other benefits or just puts it on your profile to show off you have this or that?

I dont think binding works atm at least for me it says unavailable. However, from what i have read it basically just gives you title and border displaying that you are a founder/pack holder.

The majority of bonuses from packs are to be awarded in game but some things are out of game. It depends on what type of pack you buy, obviously.
