Questions concerning the engine used

    Greetings everyone, most especially the developers,

    My question is simple. Will this game be putting attention on the collision and visual response when being attacked by or attacking with either melee or gun/weapon?

    This is commonly ignored in many games made with Unreal 4 but contributes heavily towards the immersion level for players.

    An example of a game that did this right with unreal 4 - The Batman Arkham Series. A game that doesnt do it right - ARK Survival Evolved.

    When an enemy hits you or you punch an enemy and your arm goes threw them it really brings the opinion down of the game compared to games where every hit and bullet shows a response from the enemy.

    Earlier this year we had melee weapons in the game. Goes right through. As for bullets, projectile ends at enemy pivot afaik, but no visual reaction.

    This is exactly what im worried about with ANY game made using Unreal 4 or any engine for that matter. Developers aim to bring the highest quality games they can to the market but i feel a game is cheap if something like a bullet, melee, attack response is completely ignored. It adds much more towards the immersion of the game then many think.

    Its a valid point and should be looked at by the devs.

    @HALO every game uses an engine of some sort, and basically have for somewhere in the neighborhood of over 2 decades now.
