Steam - Project Genom - Gold Avalon Pack

I wanted to buy the Gold Avalon pack via Steam because I find the game interesting with a lot of potential, only to get returned with the error that I require the base game in order to buy it.

Is the base copy of the $15 game seriously not included in a $70 pack, or is it a Steam bug?

Its not included, Its similar to a Founders pack, but its a limited item that is there to help support the development of the game. The items in the Avalon packs are not implemented into the game yet, think star citizen, if you believe in the project and want to support the game, get the pack as well.

Thanks for your support! The idea behind this is that you can check out the game for the base price, and if you like the direction, you can support future development with the avalon pack, in exchange for receiving various perks as they get implemented.
